I randomly stumbled across a copy of Valve's new employee handbook, and suddenly a lot of Valve's decisions make a lot more sense. They hire new workers and essentially let them choose what they'll work on and when. It's totally unlike any other company I've ever encountered.

Wow! 2,203 games suddenly doesn't sound so impressive!

He's also got one hell of a network setup. The ASA 5525 alone is worth $5,500+ without any licenses. I hardly have that kind of budget for a car, let alone a firewall!

He also has the case that I wanted before I found the HAF-X, the Mountain Mods Extended Ascension. That thing is dead sexy, but only if you never plan on moving it.

They must pay their network engineers better in Canada. ;p
