I considered pre-ordering it last weekend so i could get in on the early beta, but apparently the servers couldn't handle the load yesterday anyway so it's a moot point. If you guys really want to try an exercise in frustration, download Hitogata Happa from Steam. It's only a couple of bucks, and it will be one of the hardest games you ever try to play. It's a horizontal scroller in which you're given a certain number of lives to make it through a level. You die instantly when you're hit by any weapon.

Check out this screenshot from the first boss in the game. I never made it past him, despite playing the game on the easiest setting:
