I bought all the DA: Origins DLC and never played any of it except Leilanas Song. Sad to say I play so many different games and MMOs at the same time that I don't finish half of them haha.
Although Bioware continues to suprise me with how much awesome visual they put into a game without making it a graphics hog. For instance I get better frame rate in ME2 and Dragon Age then I do in the original Witcher, which looks half as good and is 2 year old.

I've got a one day gift pass for Monday Night Combat on Steam. Anyone want it?

If any of you have played Dragon Age, I cannot emphasize enough how badly you need to download the Dragon Age 2 Demo on Steam and play it immediately.
It takes roughly an hour, and should be your top priority. Yes, its that bad ass.

I meant to post something about the demo and it totally slipped my mind. I'm in total agreement with the FatMan, though, you've got to give the demo a shot. I'm really digging the updated magic system and the game just looks and feels amazing.
You can pick up the demo on Steam, or download it directly from Bioware
here
. Alternately, if you're a communist, you can also pick it up on the PS3 or XBox 360. Mere played through the demo on the 360 and it appeared to be a much more solid port than it's predecessor.

Epic has released demo shots of the upgraded Unreal Engine 3. I have to admit, the screenshots look incredible!
Of course, you can't always have 12 people spend two months on 120 seconds of gaming, but the technology is really fascinating. I hope we see some of this technology trickle into games in the not-too-distant future. Unreal Tournament 2011, anyone?

Dragon Age 2 is now available for preloading on Steam. I think I'm going to take off tomorrow afternoon to get some early playtime in!

As a heads up, newer nVidia cards need a driver update to work properly with Dragon Age 2 with DirectX 11 enabled. Grab the latest beta drivers from nVidia's site. Here are my before/after screenshots, just in case any of you run into the same thing:
And for those of you that like eye candy, here's a screenshot from my system running at 1680x1050 with the high-resolution texture pack and DirectX 11 enabled, Very High graphics detail, 8x AA, 16x AF, and all of the other options cranked.

My question from the very begining has been, what the hell is with the paint smear on his nose?

One of the pre-launch trailers shows him wiping his thumb across his nose immediately before a battle. I assume the "paint" is actually blood.

Here's a really random game. It's sorta like PacMan, but it is played entirely within the URL bar of your browser. It's a great way to waste 30 seconds.

Did you like the bad ass Templar guy at the start named Ser Wesley?
I did.

Insert punchline: Duke Nukem Forever delayed again
By Ben Kuchera | Last updated a day ago
After making Duke Nukem fans happy by announcing a specific launch date, and showing a solid, playable version of the game to the press in Las Vegas, Take-Two Interactive has announced that Duke Nukem Forever has been delayed. Again. Duke Nukem Forever will now be released on PC, the Xbox 360, and PS3 on June 10, 2011 internationally and June 14, 2011 in North America.
It's still a day one purchase for me. If anything, this will probably just get the fanboys even more excited.
