No worries about the webcam, I think we're just going to skip them altogether.
I was only suggesting desktop sharing as a view-only thing, and only if you get into trouble with the software on our first night. If I can't see what you're doing, I can't really help you if you get stuck!
More importantly, I need to be able to share
my
desktop so I can walk everyone through character creation. The UI takes a little while to get used to.

What's your host address?
Are we going to do Skype then?

If Fantasy Grounds can perform a DNS lookup (questionable), you can use
WesDownersMom.com
. If not, use the IP address
75.151.2.133
.

I'll download the client and check it out tonight.
I still stand by the fact that my schedule is garbage, and I live in a different time zone....so if you guys can't fit me into your game that is perfectly fine.

When I started playing D&D, I was 12 years old and we'd play on Saturdays for fourteen hours straight. We survived on Mountain Dew and nasty pizzas from "The Hut" (not to be confused with The Hutt, which is my Star Wars-themed term of endearment for your mom). Life was good!
Unfortunately, now that we're supposedly responsible adults, we've all got busy schedules, so it's totally understandable. Some folks will be there every time we play, others might be lucky to make it to once every three or four games. We'll work around it!
I'm planning on running a game once every two weeks, and it sounds like Tuesday is shaping up to be the night that works for everybody's schedules. I'm thinking 7:00pm to 9:00pm EST so everyone has time for dinner and doesn't have to stay up too late, but I'm totally open to suggestions.

The primary problem with my schedule is that I live in a different time zone, and you guys are two hours ahead of me.
For instance, I get off work at 4:30. Which is 6:30 at night for you guys. By time I get home and situated, assuming I don't hit traffic, it's later than that even.
So yea....

Here's a nifty concept video showing the Unreal 4 editor being used within VR. In short, editing the game from within the game.
I can see this having some interesting applications for level designers, but the real strength is probably in allowing players to interact more directly with the game environment. This would be neat for tower defense games (placing towers and modifying terrain features), but I can see it being used in other genres including platforms, first person shooters, and RPGs.

Anyone remember GameTrailers.com? They're shutting down. 12-14 years ago, GameTrailers.com was the go-to site for new game trailers. In the pre-YouTube days, it was the only place to consistently find new trailers and literally the only place that would allow you to download those trailers (in 480p baybee!) immediately and without requiring an account.
Unfortunately, their site went downhill rapidly. The UI was god-awful, the video player was abysmal, and there were increasingly draconian restrictions on video downloads. With the advent of YouTube, there really was no reason to visit GT. I probably haven't visited the site since 2008 or so.

Here's a nifty trailer for a VR adaptation of The Werewolf Game. It looks interesting, although I'm not sure how they're doing hand tracking with XBox controllers.
