I tried to launch Grand Theft Auto V tonight to get a couple hours in after a hard day of work, but it looks like my Rockstar Social Club account has been hacked. I started using strong, random, unique passwords for every account a couple years ago, but there are a couple of accounts I haven't used in years and never got around to changing. I guess this is my object lesson.

On a side note, this is yet another reason why Rockstar Social Club is such a crappy application. It serves as a middle man between my Steam account (where I bought the freakin' game) and my ability to actually play the game. Moreover, unlike Steam, Rockstar Social Club obviously doesn't gave a method of controlling account transfers ala Steam Guard.

I've put in a ticket with Rockstar asking them to revert the e-mail address and reset the password. We'll see how long this takes. What a crappy way to end a long day.

It looks like they're pouring a bunch of money and talent into it. It looks to me like an amazing haunted house and a virtual reality simulator crammed into one epic facility. -b0b (...intriguing!)

Oculus announced a release time frame of Q1 2016 for the Oculus Rift. Exciting times.

Valve is aiming for a "holiday 2015" release for the HTC Vive, so it looks like they'll beat Oculus to the market. I can't wait to see which one offers the best experience.
