Well ladies and gentlemen,

Today is my first official day of work.  Although technically, Wed, Thur, Fri are really orientation days...I still get paid nonetheless.  I'd like to thank not only God who is really The Only One who made it possible...but I'd like to thank you, my friends, for sticking it out with me these last two years.  I am very grateful that whenever I asked for prayer, you were right there ready, willing, able, and encouraging.  This is what the Body Of Christ is suppose to be and even though we might not get to see each other every day...I am honored that we've remained close these past 6 +/- after high school.  I just want each and everyone on here to know, that you can really touch a guy's heart with your love and all "Wes' mom" jokes aside...it's good to know that I can count on some awesome people to be there for me through thick and thin.  There's nothing I can possibly do, to repay you all...so don't be afraid to call on me when any one of you needs help.  That's what friends and Christians do for each other...and we seem to go above and beyond that.

Well I finished my first full real week of work the other day.  So far, I've had to rub shoulders with sponsors (this time it was bankers...even they can be not so smart...did you know?) and then I had to work employee entrance monitor and shipping and receiving and new hires/interviews.  I've been told I picked up pretty quick on it so far.  The hardest part of the job so far, other than knowing who to call when the plan deviates...is staving off the boredom, I think I'm going to finish a few books in my time.

Next week I'm working Gate 1 which is kinda the Command And Control of the security force.  Here I'll be greeting sponsors (people who come in to pay us to do their tests...that means I get to play extra nice or it's curtains for me), be in charge of our emergency dispatch, and a few other important things here and there.  Basically, once I learn this post, the other two I have yet to learn won't be too bad.

Right now we work 12 hour shifts but that will change in a few weeks when it'll be a rotating 8 hour shift but I think I'll be mostly working 3rd shift for now...seeing as no one really likes that one.  I'll need to find an AM radio somewhere to listen to my favorite AM late night radio show...and hopefully be able to pick it up.

Other than that, there's not much new to tell.  I've met some cool people, some really good looking women, and I'm making some great money for the easiest job at the company.

Ooo so far I've seen one monkey...but so far I've not had to deal with anything causing the zombiefication of the company personnel.
