Pat, that would be the most ghettoriffic thing ever. Instead of adding ports, you're really just installing a hub to break an existing port into four ports. That will result in your traffic being split four ways, meaning your total bandwidth is limited to that of a single USB port.

Get a real breakout box that runs to the motherboard, not that ghettoriffic piece of junk.

If you're going to use your machine as your TV I would spend the extra dough and get a really nice card. That's what I did about 3 years ago.
