My friends where is the outcry?  We make fun of Catholics and Michael Jackson yet we almost see this a "fantasy come true".  Where is our outrage at the people who use their power and position to take advantage of our youth?  We saw it in our schools with Pam and Mr. Berg (I have proof of that), the girls soccer team and their coach, not to mention Veeg and Perkins staring at every girls chest they could get at.  Yet we had people like Mrs. Brezden who led marches against the people wanting teacher testing and more control on the hiring practices of teachers.  I have newspaper articles where there were background checks and finger prints taken of a bunch of teachers and found out most of them were convicted criminals.  Guess what?  The school hired them first and when the parents heard about the background checks they wanted them fired.  Under New Jeersey, I think it was in NJ...I can look it up if you want me to, they couldn't be fired after hiring!

Have the public schools become the way of the television?  Do we not care about our children anymore so we send them off to a place where we don't care where they go as long as they are out of our hair and we don't have to deal with them?  If you, as a parent let's say, found out that a stranger was having sex with your under age child...would you be mad?  Or would you just shrug it off?  I hope you would be mad!  Now what's the difference when it's not a stranger but a known, trusted teacher?  In fact there should be more outrage because of it!  If it were a stranger we'd lock him/her up and force them to submit to signing up for the sex offenders list.  However here, most of the time it's just a slap on the wrist and that's about it.  You don't hear the cry from the public?  This is what happens when you get a group of people who fight for the rights of NAMBLA also fighting for our tax payed teachers.

Sorry to go off on this tirade but I was mad about it.  Anyone else feel likewise or different?
