only one thing you can do in that situation, punch her in the face to prove you're right!
but really, their flier didn't have a picture of the guy on it with "we are going to kill you on thursday may 24" or anything. Why did the school have to call the police? Yes she does sound like a man-hating femanazi, but jail for that? I know bob(punk) has yelled worse things than that out the window while riding in MY car. He didn't go to jail...(no matter how funny it would have been) I guess it is just worse when it is written...

What happens when your kids are too stupid to graduate?

FW students protest TAKS decision
12:54 PM CDT on Thursday, May 24, 2007
By DARLA MILES / WFAA-TV
FORT WORTH — Students who had been planning to walk across the stage at graduation ceremonies this weekend were instead walking a picket line Thursday morning.
The Trimble Tech High School seniors marched in front of Fort Worth Independent School District headquarters to protest Wednesday's decision by trustees to bar students who failed the TAKS test from commencement exercises.
About a dozen young people, carrying signs and chanting, began picketing at 8:30 a.m. Thursday. They represent the 613 Fort Worth seniors who did not pass the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills exam.
Crystal Martinez complained that while she finished at the top of her class with a 3.5 grade point average, she is now blocked from graduation by failing the TAKS test.
"We know we're not going to get our diplomas, but we just want to walk across the stage," Martinez said. "That's all we ask for right now."
Classmate Chloe Walker agreed. "I believe that I have at least the right to walk the stage with all my friends," she said. "I made it this far, and I have all my credits I need. I deserve to get my certificate of completion."
School officials said non-graduating seniors will have a chance to take the TAKS test again in July. If they pass, they can participate in a separate commencement exercise in August.
The Trimble students said they planned to continue their protest through the day, and may be joined by other students.
Not all school districts ban students who fail the TAKS from graduation ceremonies. Arlington, Coppell, Duncanville, Frisco, Grand Prairie, Hurst-Euless-Bedford and Richardson students are permitted to "walk the stage."
But school districts in Allen, Carrollton-Farmers Branch, Dallas, DeSoto, Garland, Irving, Lancaster, Mansfield, McKinney, Mesquite, Plano and Wylie all have policies similar to the Fort Worth ISD.
Check out the pic below and read the lady's sign. Then realize that the stupidity is probably hereditary!

No kidding. You must be taking crap classes to get a 3.5 GPA and not be able to pass a retarded standardized test.
Then again, it never failed to amaze me how many of our classmates had trouble passing the MEAP. I remember some people talking about taking the math portion four times before they passed.
At that rate, you could probably guess the answers and still pass eventually.

These people should also take a lesson from the MEAP and our former teachers. If you want funding...cheat! When we took our math portion we all had our worked checked and we were "recommended" to recheck our answers.

Gay bar wins right to ban heterosexuals (AAP)
By ninemsn staff
A Melbourne gay bar has been granted an exemption from the Equal Opportunity Act in a landmark ruling which will allow security to refuse entry to heterosexuals.
The owners of Collingwood's Peel Hotel, which came under fire in April for promoting a gay Anzac Day party, successfully argued to the state planning tribunal that banning heterosexuals from the club would prevent "sexually based insults and violence".

The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal granted the controversial powers to the club last week, the Herald Sun reports.

VCAT deputy president Cate McKenzie claimed that allowing straight men and women into the club would defeat the purpose of the venue.
"This would undermine or destroy the atmosphere which the company wishes to create," McKenzie said.
"Sometimes heterosexual groups and lesbian groups insult and deride and are even physically violent towards the gay male patrons."
McKenzie said some straight women came to the club because they found the gay patrons entertaining.
"To regard the gay male patrons of the venue as providing an entertainment or spectacle to be stared at, as one would at an animal at a zoo, devalues and dehumanises them," she said.
"(This exemption) seeks to give gay men a space in which they may, without inhibition, meet, socialise and express physical attraction to each other in a non-threatening atmosphere."
A spokeswoman for the Victorian Gay and Lesbian Lobby Group told the Herald Sun that gay men at the Peel had been made to feel like "zoo animals".
"This exemption was not sought to exclude members of the community but to try to maintain a safe space for men to meet," the spokeswoman said.
"It's sad that members of our community would have to go to the VCAT to preserve their rights.
"This is one of the only free venues with live music in the area, so certainly some people may feel a bit unhappy about the decision."
Ya, I don't know if anyone remember that a while ago some kid made a big stink because he was not hired at a Christian bookstore and he said it was because he was an outright atheist. The press, then, sided with the kid...hmm I wonder what they'll do here?
Also this shows you as long as you are not white, straight, rich, and especially a man....you can get away with anything!

We Are All in It Together, Clinton Says
Tuesday May 29, 12:11 pm ET
By Holly Ramer, Associated Press Writer
Clinton: Shared Prosperity Should Replace 'On Your Own' Society
MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) -- Presidential hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton outlined a broad economic vision Tuesday, saying it's time to replace an "on your own" society with one based on shared responsibility and prosperity.
The Democratic senator said what the Bush administration touts as an "ownership society" really is an "on your own" society that has widened the gap between rich and poor.
"I prefer a 'we're all in it together' society," she said. "I believe our government can once again work for all Americans. It can promote the great American tradition of opportunity for all and special privileges for none."
That means pairing growth with fairness, she said, to ensure that the middle-class succeeds in the global economy, not just corporate CEOs.
"There is no greater force for economic growth than free markets. But markets work best with rules that promote our values, protect our workers and give all people a chance to succeed," she said. "Fairness doesn't just happen. It requires the right government policies."
Clinton spoke at the Manchester School of Technology, which trains high school students for careers in the construction, automotive, graphic arts and other industries. The school highlighted one of the nine goals she outlined: increasing support for alternative schools and community colleges.
"We have sent a message to our young people that if you don't go to college ... that you're thought less of in America. We have to stop this," she said. "Our country cannot run without the people who have the skills that are taught in this school."
Beyond education, Clinton said she would reduce special breaks for corporations, eliminate tax incentives for companies that ship jobs overseas and open up CEO pay to greater public scrutiny.
Clinton also said she would help people save more money by expanding and simplifying the earned income tax credit; create new jobs by pursuing energy independence; and ensure that every American has affordable health insurance.
If you want to classify this type of economic system at the least you could call it socialism and at most you call it communism. He, or she, who has the gold makes the rules....once you have no gold...they won't care who or what you support.

When she cuts me a check for a million dollars...I'll think about believing in her philosophy. It's the rich who always want the middle class to bare the burden of the "great experiment"...well you first, whore.
