The name being gay aside.

As the fine gentlemen at Ctrl-Alt-Delete pointed out. This was pretty amazing marketing scheme.

I mean all they did was post a press release, and within 24 hours every single website, forum, person, video game store etc was doing nothing but talking about the Nintendo Wii.

I bet you the Nintendo booth at E3 is going to be PACKED with press now. If Nintendo can come through with some kick ass games (To go along with that pretty bad ass controller idea) customers might not give a shit what the name of the system is.

I mean seriously, would you REALLY not buy something for the SINGLE reason you didn't like the name?

Honestly, I'm changing my opinion on this subject. Mad props to Nintendos marketing directors.
