With AdBlock set to block the top five or six advertising companies, I don't even see 90% of ads. It's extraordinarily rare that I ever click on an ad, but I've done it before. The only one that I specifically remember is a Tyan ad four a quad-Xeon server motherboard. I just wanted to see what they offered, even though there was no way I could ever afford such a box.

But, unless its a really good one, I'll just stop shooting before it pops up the ad thing. For the normal ads, I just try to block as many as possible, especially the e-harmony type ones.

Reply #6 - Feb 21^st, 2006 at 1:08am Firefox has this nice little extension that disables flash, I believe it's called NoScript...it's somewhat touchy to use but with enough "do not block these sites" enabled you get the most of it.

I'm coming home for the remainder of the semester this weekend. Anyone want to hang out?

(Long story...basically...meds not working...changing majors anyway and current classes no longer apply...gotta see doctors and stuff over the next couple of months...possibly studying abroad in mexico this summer...going back to school in the fall and hopefully graduating next may)

(And yes, James, you can have your FFVII discs back)
