Shooter was pure crap. The physics in The Core made more sense, if that's even possible. If I didn't know the first thing about ballistics and trajectory, I suppose the movie may have been mediocre, but I couldn't suspend disbelief well enough to make it even the slightest bit enjoyable.

Again, I think The Village was an excellent film. If you spend the entire movie trying to figure out what the plot twist is, I'm sure it won't be the most enjoyable film you've ever seen. That said, I though the cinematography was top notch, the acting was excellent, and the plot was thoroughly interesting.

You may not have enjoyed it, but that doesn't necessarily mean it was a "crap" film. There are plenty of movies that people rave about that I simply can't stand. That doesn't mean the movie is bad or that I've got poor taste in cinema, it simply means they weren't very enjoyable for me.

It won a couple awards, got great reviews, and was about an assasin so I figured I would rent it. I seriously want the 2 hours of my life back. I wasted $3.75 to see this. Why would the whole world lie to me about this movie?

Hmm if only there was like some email for a show that would talk about things that mattered to geeks like you...such as film.geeks@yahoo.com or checking out a blog that has movie reviews up to see if they match normal reviews of average people like you such as filmgeeksshow.blogspot.com. Or if there was some call in show where you could even request people to talk about it rather than read some blog such as the Film Geeks on talkshoe.com.
