Title: Summer Work
Post by texfrost on May 5th, 2006 at 11:41pm
Any of you still in the TR area know of anywhere looking for summer workers?  I've had it up to here {points to the top of his hair} with Village Markets bullshat and I'm getting tired of it, so I'm officially hoping to get a job by this coming saturday so I can tell them to screw off and I don't have to work 1-8.  That, and I need a job thats not paying me six and a quarter.

If you work at VM then you must know my brother, Jordan?  How's he like to work with?  Any bashings?  Any screw up?  Hitting on men in spandex?

Eh.....I swear...Stude is lazier than I am and that takes a lot, ask b0b.  I have more non-retlated work stories than work stories.  He pretty much got us banned from playin poker at one guys house....we're thinking about showing up at his place with like, 10 people one night to play poker.  Cause thats about what he did to them.

For quite a while we played EVERY friday night, but as of late, between track and work and stuff, we havn't been able to get together as regularly.  We get pretty crazy sometimes.  But, the dead person of the group is no longer playing with us, so the partay's will be even better.

I need some dirt on the kid here!

Well, he used to play poker with us when we got together right?  We have a thursday off from school so on wednesday, he comes up to the guy and is like "We're playin poker at your house, Ive called everyone up already"  wtf?  We are  No one told me. "umm yea I did..." Yea, and I said I'd  see if we could play and I never said yes or no.

So theres about 6 people who are going to play at these guy's house that night.  Maybe.  If thier step pops lets us, which we don't think will happen cause he has to work the next day.  So we get there and get chewed the hell out.  Apparently, two of the guys had been there already also.  So were standing around before Stude gets there like, ok guys, we need somewhere to play.  So we start callin and asking around and one of thems like, well, let me call my folks and we can probably go over to my place.  So we clear it with the folks and we get ready to go.

Stude pulls in.  Hey guys....for all he knows, WE ARNT PLAYING! So a couple of us go back there and we're like dood, we can't play here tonight cause his parents wern't told about it soon enough...now we can't play cause we don't have anywhere to play at.

It worked.  The six of us (the guys are twins at the place we were going) went over to the other guys house and we played three some odd games.

that was kind of like following a story my 13 year old cousin Julia was telling me once about her middle school love triangle drama.

it just made absolutely no sense.

I'll try and straiten it out later.  Long story short, he planned a poker trny at someones house without asking them to host it.  Then we got yelled at.  Stude showed up, we told him we didn't have anywhere to play and that we got banned from playing there.  Then we went and played poker at someone elses house.

It is an awesome game when one knows how to play it.  The main reason we play is just to get all the guys together and have a good time.  It gets pretty wild sometimes, and we have a LOT of stories from it, but they normally only make sense to those who were present.

i am going to refrain from making comments on that one.

although, I've played some pretty crazy games of Clue in my day.

I would totally take you down at Clue, b0b.

Whatever.  If we played Clue, you wouldn't last five minutes against my super-sleuthing skill.  You have a better chance of winning a round of Russian Roulette with a semi-automatic pistol.

no rage here. none at all.

I would totally take your ass down at Clue. Simple as that.

Do not, I repeat, do not threaten my mad sleuthing skills. I wouldn't last five minutes cause I would have figured it out in 2.

I would pwn all who play me at Scene It or any type of movie/pop culture game.  Just ask Briney and Eric...New Years Eve, 5 against me....I win!

That's because Scene It is gay.  If you want some hardcore pwnage, play me in Taboo.  I'll own you all the way to Botswana with that one.

Me Pat and Briney will destroy anyones face in Risk also.

I daresay we may be the best in the world.

It's a good thing Hitler never played risk.  He might have actually won World War II if he had any clue about how dangerous it was to fight on two fronts.

Oh please, kid...everything you know about Taboo you learned from yours truly.

(wishes we could have a game night before I take off for Moo U...what are y'all doing Thursday or Friday night?)
