Title: Pirate looking for some buried treasure Post by musiciannary on Jan 23rd, 2006 at 10:16pm
Could someone please, please pretty please find me a clean copy of Finale 2006 with a crack? This poor starving music major can't spend $500 on a software program :o
You will be rewarded! ;) |

I was gonna give you my info and let you FTP it to my MSU space but it turns out we only get a measly 100 MB. Crappity crap.
Hm... That's its size as a .zip file right? Other than connecting to your computer, I'm plumb out of ideas. Then again, you're the resident techie around here. I will be heading home this weekend, so it is a definite possiblity. Let me know what you think. I've been calling and hanging up because I hate answering machines this week. Back to work! |

Um...would an IM file transfer work? It know it'd be way slow...
It wasn't my idea anyway. This trumpet player sitting next to me suggested it and I'm not sure what his 1337ness level is. Talk to you later! |
Title: Re: Pirate looking for some buried treasure Post by b0b on Jan 25th, 2006 at 4:09pm
Since it is only 200MB, I can host it briefly on the intarweb and send you a link.
Whomever suggested transferring 200MB via IM should be beaten with a LART. -b0b (...prefers two-by-fours.) |
Title: Re: Pirate looking for some buried treasure Post by musiciannary on Jan 25th, 2006 at 5:26pm
What's a LART?
(He's an obnoxious brass player. He never shuts up in class and probably hasn't the foggiest idea about anything technical. Why did I waste my breath anyway?) Yes, beam it up b0bby, and let me know where I can get it. You can post, email, IM or call. Thanks again hon! *hug* |

LART? Second row, first entry.
http://letters.oreilly.com/pub/a/oreilly/letters/2001/spoofcovers_1201.html I'll send you a forum IM with the URL of Finale. If anyone else wants it, I'll leave it up for 24 hours. -b0b (...wootsauce.) |
Title: Re: Pirate looking for some buried treasure Post by musiciannary on Jan 26th, 2006 at 12:59pm
Having problems downloading...
If I send you a check to cover postage, could you burn it to a CD and mail it to me over at MSU? |
Title: Re: Pirate looking for some buried treasure Post by b0b on Jan 26th, 2006 at 10:21pm
Since you said "thank you," I assumed you had downloaded it.
Hence, it was deleted. Hence, you weren't able to download it. Hence, I've uploaded it again. -b0b (...hence.) |

-For this reason; therefore: handmade and hence expensive.
-From this source: They grew up in the Sudan; hence their interest in Nubian art. -From this time; from now: A year hence it will be forgotten. -From this place; away from here: Get you hence! Get you hence!!!! |

Sorry for bothering you.
It won't happen again. |
Title: Re: Pirate looking for some buried treasure Post by b0b on Jan 27th, 2006 at 5:05pm
Umm... okay.
-b0b (...is confused.) |
Title: Re: Pirate looking for some buried treasure Post by musiciannary on Jan 27th, 2006 at 10:53pm
Oh! I guess for some reason I thought I annoyed you. Silly misunderstanding. Anyway, I tried it again today and it stopped at 40% so I cancelled it. I'm trying it again right now and I'll let you know what happens.

Title: Re: Pirate looking for some buried treasure Post by b0b on Jan 28th, 2006 at 2:08pm
It's probably stopping because I'm seeding torrents like a mad man. If it stops again, let me know and I'll back off on the torrents.
-b0b (...rocks on.) |
Title: Re: Pirate looking for some buried treasure Post by b0b on Feb 1st, 2006 at 9:40am
Why don't you stop over next time you're in town? I'll swap you Finale 2006 for Final Fantasy VII. I've been itching to play it again.
-b0b (...needs his fix.) |
Title: Re: Pirate looking for some buried treasure Post by musiciannary on Feb 1st, 2006 at 10:24am
It's a deal.
*pinky swear* I was so exhausted last weekend that I spent it entirely on a new game of FFVII. Now it's all I can think about. The next time I'm home will be the weekend of the 17th, as it's Grace's youth conference. Perhaps I can squeeze in a trip to go see you. I'm taking an apologetics class at Riverview, but it's not as intense as I was hoping it would be. Basically all we're doing is going over the content of Lee Strobel's books, which I have already read. It's a little interesting hearing other peoples' questions though. Back to school...this is definitely the busiest semester I've EVER had. |

Here's a theological question for you to pose to your classmates:
If you have known sin in your life, will God hear your prayers? In other words, if you knowingly, willingly, and defiantly disobey God in some manner, will He hear any subsequent unrelated prayers before you seek forgiveness for that particular sin? All answers must include scripture references. -b0b (...knows this one is much deeper than it initially sounds.) |
