I'm sure a lot of you know of this already but I thought I'd spread the word. Child's Play is a charity for childrens hospitals that was started by Penny Arcade Comics. It's basically gamers around the world giving back to what we all are at heart, Children. You basically buy a toy or video game device from any of the hospitals Amazon Wish List, and the item is delivered to the hospital for use by the Children there. I personally make sure to buy at least one thing for them each year, as I think its a great thing to do. This year I thought I'd see if any of you could spare a few bucks from your pockets (And believe me I know money is tight). Anyways, give it a try, you'll be surprised how good you feel. |

You don't send ME money. The link I posted at the start of the post is where you go.
You can buy an item from one of the wish lists and have it delivered to the hospital, or you can donate straight cash via PayPal to Child's Play (They also except checks and money orders through mail I believe). The money is split into equal parts and presented to the different hospitals near Christmas. |

The new Firefox is out...I'd wait and hold off on getting it right now. They need to re-do the way adblock works in 1.5 (the new one). However if you don't care that much it's pretty nice.

Damn Patsy, I make a post about helping sick children have some fun, and you ruin it with Firefox glitches.

a bot thats getting its ip banned.
|
Title: Re: In the Spirit of Giving Post by Stick on Feb 6th, 2006 at 9:39am
Does that qualify as illegal spam? We should report it and make that company lose everything.
|
Title: Re: In the Spirit of Giving Post by b0b on Feb 6th, 2006 at 12:45pm
The likelihood of you ever finding "that company" is probably equivalent to the likelihood that you'll win the lottery without even playing. Besides, it's highly unlikely they're even based in a country that has laws dealing with "illegal spam."
-b0b (...tells it like it is.) |

Hey guys, that was me the second post by backgammon. I just faked like I was the same bot, trying to bring a little humor(the bot knew about wes's mom!)... Bob unban that IP because it's my school IP and I like to view the forums from there occassionally.
thx |
